All documents are available for immediate download so you can start your project straight away. The pattern is sized to fit on A4 and US Letter Paper. A PDF reader (e.g. Adobe Reader or Preview for MAC) will be required to view and print the file.

The pattern is written in English.

The pattern measurements are given in inches and centimetres.

Confident Beginner No experience in making teddy bear clothes is necessary as each step is explained fully. You will need to have a basic knowledge of how to use a sewing machine.

The pattern is designed to fit 15-18 inch teddy bears such as 'Build A Bear' and ‘Bear Factory’ bears. Please note that all bears are stuffed differently, and head, waist, chest, and arm measurements can vary significantly. Please see the listing photos for finished garment sizes to check that this pattern is suitable before buying.

• Sleepsuit Fabric: 85cm width x 40cm  (34 inches width x 16 inches) – including cuffs & collars or
• Sleepsuit Fabric: 85cm width x 35cm  (34 inches width x 14 inches) – excluding cuffs & collars

If using Ribbing for the Collar & Cuffs

• Collar - 15½ cm x 4cm (6¼ inches x 1¾ inches)
• Wrist Cuffs x 2 (Optional) - 17cm x 4cm (7 inches
  x 1 ¾ inches)
• Ankle cuffs x 2 (Optional) – 21cm x 4cm (8½inches x 1 ¾ inches)
  

Notions:

• Velcro - 10.5cm x 1.6cm (4 inches x  ½ inch) or a fastening of your choice
• Matching Thread
  

Fabrics:

• Sleepsuit:- light-weight knit fabric e.g. lightweight cotton jersey.
• Collar & Cuffs – either the same light-weight knit fabric as above or contrasting ribbing fabric.
  

Remember to ‘bear’ in mind the size of teddy bear clothes, plain fabrics or fabrics with small patterns / stripes work best.
