Transform Your Teddy Bear into a Christmas Elf!

I've designed a template for a cute little belt and hammer which you can add to a teddy bear t-shirt or apron so you can transform your teddy bear into an adorable little teddy bear elf!

The elf belt and hammer can be cut from felt and sewn to a teddy bear apron or a teddy bear T-shirt to create a cute little elf outfit. Your bear will then feel right at home in Santa’s workshop, helping to make the toys that will be slipped quietly into children’s stockings on Christmas Eve.

To make your elf apron, simply download the free apron pattern from the website. Then head over to our community Facebook group where you’ll find the belt and hammer templates along with detailed instructions.

If your elf will be out checking on which children will be on the naughty or nice list, add the elf templates to our Twickenham T-shirt instead. I’ve paired the T-shirt with the Lottie Leggings in a red and white striped fabric to create a classic elf outfit.

THE TEMPLATES

The free elf template and instructions are only available in the Best Dressed Bears Community Facebook Group. Everyone who orders a Best Dressed Bears pattern or is a subscriber to my newsletter is invited to join the group. It’s a welcoming and supportive community where you can ask questions and see teddy bear outfits made by people all over the world.

To download the free templates and instructions, simply go to the group's homepage and check out the FILES section. You’ll also find lots of other free patterns there too!

SHARE YOUR BEARS!

I’d love to see how your teddy bear elves turn out so don’t forget to share your makes on our Facebook group or on social media, using #BestDressedBears. I’ll add all your pictures to a highlight on my Instagram account so you can all join in on the magic too!

 Happy sewing!

Lots of love, Jackie x
