The pattern is suitable for intermediate sewers upwards and includes pattern templates for two waist sizes, the first to fit teddy bears with a waist size up to 39cm / 15inches and a second template to fit waists up to 42cm / 16.5 inches for those teddy bears that have eaten a little too many honey sandwiches!!

      24 page sewing pattern and tutorial that’s available for immediate download so you can start your project straight away. The pattern is sized to fit on A4 and US Letter Paper. A PDF reader (e.g. Adobe Reader or Preview for MAC) will be required to view and print the file.

      Sizing

      The pattern is designed to fit 15-18 inch teddy bears such as 'Build A Bear' and ‘Bear Factory’ bears. Please note that all bears are stuffed differently, and head, waist, chest, and arm measurements can vary significantly. Please see the listing photos for finished garment sizes to check that this pattern is suitable before buying.

      Materials & Tools
      • Top Fabric – 20 inches width x 8 inches length (50cm width x 20cm length)
      • Lining – 20 inches width x 8 inches length (50cm width x 20cm length)
      • 2 x snap fasteners or buttons.

      At Best Dressed Bears, we encourage the upcycling of fabric wherever possible. Gently used cotton or lightweight denim are ideal for this project. Remember to ‘bear’ in mind the size of teddy bear clothes, plain fabrics or fabrics with small patterns/stripes work best.
